BetterLifeSpace provides a full range of transition services which link real estate services with handyman services, with moving, organizing, structuring, and staging services, and with the coordination and conduct of estate sales.

Steve Whitney – Owner

Steve Whitney is a native Mississippian and retired military veteran.  He holds a Mississippi real estate license and is affiliated with Kaizen Realty of Germantown, TN.  Steve is experienced with military construction, human resources, people programs, and real world strategic planning, and he is skilled at juggling complex projects or problems.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, a master’s degree in counseling and human development, and a master’s degree in business administration.  Steve is a member of the National Association of REALTORS and the Northwest Mississippi Association of REALTORS, and is a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist.

Steve is personally familiar with the unique real estate challenges—rightsizing, moving, accessibility, affordability—which face senior adults and their extended families.  He is also uniquely sensitive to the housing needs of military families and veterans.  Steve conceived BetterLifeSpace to offer a full range of transition services linking his work as a real estate agent with handyman services, with moving, organizing, structuring, and staging services, and with the coordination and conduct of estate sales.

AJ Knight – Associate/Paralegal

AJ has been a Mississippi transplant from the West Coast for over 10 years.  He has a broad range of construction skills, and his remodeling projects range from adding entire rooms along with foundation and plumbing work to more community-driven housing tasks like estate sales and home sales/purchase preparation.

AJ is also a careered paralegal with experience in legal communications, investigation (to include e-discovery), legal research, comprehension, drafting (to include e-filing), and daily law firm management.  Raised in a deaf household, AJ has been fluent in American Sign Language since childhood.

Ann Dixon – Associate

Ann has lived in Olive Branch for 25 years and enjoys serving the public.  Her experience includes time working as an account executive for a temporary agency, serving as a service coordinator for a staffing agency, performing accounts receivable actions for a school system, and various clerical and secretarial positions.  Ann’s sunny disposition is ideal for sales, and she is a veteran of many estate sales—both as customer and provider.
